Dear JKCers,

I just wanted to let you know that i've finally configured that reputation system.
You can give someone reputation on their posts or topics by clicking the little or button after each post.

But please don't abuse the system by giving someone good or bad reputation for no reason.

This is how many reputation points the different member groups can give once every 24 hours.

Leecher - 5
Member - 5
Super Member - 10
Elite Member - 15
Supreme Member - 25
Friends - 25
Staff - 25

So if you see a topic or post you really like, don't hesitate to give the creator a good reputation point.

Well yea but reputation should only be given for topics or posts that are really helpful or provide information/stuff you were looking for. Kinda stupid to give someone good reputation for a spam topic or spam post. That's why i mentioned that i want to ask not to abuse the system. Same goes for giving yourself reputation.

Alright, i changed something about the reputation system.

• It's only possible to give positive reputation.
  
• You're not able to give yourself reputation anymore.

The reason for those changes is because i don't think people should really be able to give nor receive bad reputation. I know that there's plenty of people who give someone bad reputation just because they don't agree with someones opinion or because they don't like someone. Not saying that anyone who's active on here would really do that but you know there are those kind of people.

As for giving yourself reputation it should be more than understandable why it's been disabled. Reputation is earned through others and not by giving it yourself.

lolz that means that someone tried to give themselves reputation. didn't even think of that!

but i got a +1, which is why i went in search of this reputation thing. so someone liked a post i did... heh. feels absurdly proud of self!! how can we tell which post it was? or is it OBVIOUS?

If you get a positive point for any of your posts you can see it in the right lower corner of the post.
I don't think there's any other way to see what you've received the reputation points for.
